Our practical PSVAR Training course covers in-depth wheelchair clamping procedures (WTORS and 4-Point Systems) and includes assessments for each driver, safe lift operation, and disability awareness, giving drivers the confidence and practical skills needed to support all passengers.

Our PSVAR Training Course

Our CPD-Accredited PSVAR training course helps drivers meet their legal responsibilities under the Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR).

The training focuses on the role of a PSVAR vehicle driver, how PSVAR affects the driver’s working day, the Driver and the Equality Act 2010, the Pitfalls drivers need to avoid, correct use of wheelchair lifts, safe wheelchair positioning and clamping (WTORS/4-point tie downs), and respectful interaction with passengers with disabilities.

This practical, hands-on PSVAR Training course is designed for real-world operation, ensuring drivers can apply the regulations confidently during everyday service.

The course runs for 3 1/2 hours and can be completed between AM and PM schools.
