The Course
THE COURSE IS PRESENTED LIVE AT YOUR DEPOT/YARD FROM ONBOARD YOUR PSVAR VEHICLE
We bring the necessary equipment, including our mobile wheelchair securement training packs. We required access to a PSVAR vehicle for the duration of the course.
Minimum 6 Attendees - Maximum 25 Attendees
6 to 10 Drivers £450.00 Per Course
11 to 15 Drivers £525.00 Per Course
16 to 20 Drivers £600.00 Per Course
21 to 25 Drivers £675.00 Per Course

All courses have practical elements. Please ensure drivers are suitably clothed.

The Course
- It is relevant to all coach operators and drivers who may drive PSVAR vehicles as part of their employment.
- Easily completed between schools - Most Ops ask us to run the course from 09.30 to 13.30
- Practical Wheelchair Securement Sessions, where drivers learn and practice how to secure wheelchairs safely and efficiently.
- Covers legal, practical, and safety issues - a comprehensive training package
- Aims to improve passenger safety by providing the necessary skills for those who have the responsibility of driving passengers with disabilities, and provides information to allow drivers to understand and meet the needs of their passengers

To give PCV drivers the knowledge and confidence to provide the best possible service and support to customers who have many forms of varying disabilities and ensure the customers are treated with compassion and respect from the moment they board the bus to when they alight.
We ensure that bus and coach drivers always take a professional approach, ensuring that their customers have a pleasant, safe, and trouble-free journey. The trainer covers issues including understanding the needs of all passengers & Making Reasonable Adjustments, as well as case studies and solutions.
Understanding Driver Responcibilities
Drivers understand the company's responsibility to allow safe access to PSVs for people of all abilities.
To recognise what is required to provide reasonable assistance to disabled people, including wheelchair users, to board and alight and how to react to various situations and differing work situations to ensure that people with disabilities are safe and catered for. Complying with regulations when equipment fails and using equipment in an emergency.
