THE COURSE IS PRESENTED LIVE AT YOUR DEPOT/YARD FROM ONBOARD ONE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLES.
We bring the necessary equipment, including smoke machines, fire extinguishers, and a series of different scenarios to recreate a realistic emergency on your vehicle. We required access to a full-size coach for the duration of the course.

Emergency Evacuation Training - Never Say Never
- · There were over 220 Buses/Coach fires between 2022 and 2024
- 3 People were killed in an accident between a bus & car, when the vehicles caught fire in March 2025
- · On average, the driver has less than two minutes to evacuate the entire vehicle safely
- · The DVSA investigated bus fires and published a report in 2023; however, most operators and drivers still do not meet the standards outlined in this report.

This comprehensive course is crafted to equip staff and drivers with a deep understanding of the risks associated with PCV vehicle fires. It also teaches them to master the art of safeguarding the well-being of every occupant and passenger.
**Classroom Session:**
In our engaging classroom session, participants will explore the critical risks and dangers posed by vehicle fires and learn a straightforward, step-by-step protocol for swift and safe vehicle evacuation.
**Practical Session:**
Participants will then transition from theory to practice, applying their newfound knowledge in a realistic environment. Using smoke generators in a minibus, bus, or coach, drivers will experience the evacuation process as if in a real-life scenario, honing their skills and boosting their confidence in emergencies. Join us in this vital training and ensure you are prepared to protect lives when it matters most!
**CPD HOURS**
This CPD-certified course includes 7 hours of CPD accreditation and certification provided by the CPD Standards Office.
